No. Just call ahead...worthless...tried numerous times on weekends...no reservations... :(
David Morales 🙄
No reservation needed; however, Friday evenings and the weekend can get crowded. We have waited for 45 min or so without a reservation at those times.
Yes, unless you are handicapped you have to pay to park at most places in bricktown.
Yes there is a full menu available for carry out
The food was decent, service lackluster and overall it just seemed depressing inside.
We ordered online and went to pick up an hour later. The order was printed and taped to the bag. We get home and there are 2 items missing. I drive back to get them, mind you this is a first Father's Day for my son so we want to eat together. Now they have to wait on me to get back. I get back, open the salad that wasn't in the first order, and what do I find? A black and orange bug in my Caesar. I take it back and ask for a refund. Oh they were sorry because they don't honor online orders. They offered me dessert instead. I won't be back.
Jacob and Micah (the twins) made us feel more than at home! They were both phenomenal servers! I could literally write a textbook on how to work as a team on a big top using just those two! Thank you both so much for all the hospitality! I hope we weren’t too much trouble!
Foods delicious and staff is helpful and never left me needing anything. However this is not a restaurant you want to visit if you r in the mood for a steak. Not exactly their specialty. I had to send my steak back because I asked for med rare, and it came back rare. Then it came back well done and finally after a new steak they got it right.
Loved it. Went there two nights in one week. The service could be improved a little. No side plate given when bread came, both nights.
I went here in 2019 with my husband and mother in law. I was pregnant at the time and we picked a place that wasn’t busy. We sat and waited for over an hour and was NEVER seated. They kept giving other people tables that came in. We all went and checked about a table and kept being told it wouldn’t be long. It was not busy when we got there and there were plenty of open tables. We eventually left because I was pretty desperate for food....
I HAD THE MOST AMAZING BIRTHDAY LUNCH/DINNER YESTERDAY..AFTER A DAY AT THE CAPITAL #WOMENSDAY #EARTHDAY #BIRTHDAY. I HAD THE SHRIMP CARBARNA WITH ALFREDDO SAUCE THE PICTURES DO NO.JUSTICE. SO CREAMY CHEESE AND A BIG BROWNIE AND ICE CREAM.FOR.DESSERT .. BEST PLACE FOR ANY OCCssion. Thanks for making Yesterday Amazing.. even fixed my daughter food again after it was made.wrong.. Great service from the time.we came into the door and we left.. Everyone wished Me Happy Birthday .. 20 plus stars in My Book.Favorite Restaurant
Very delicious food, and the chianti was wonderful. Gets very busy on Friday nights so get there early or be prepared to wait a while for a table.
very nice restaurant.. our waiter, i think his name was travis gave us an awesome experience! the food was delicious, everything was cooked to perfection. very satisfied.
Let me start by saying that the food is great and has been fresh in each and every experience. The reason for the rating is because of the level of service provided. On 2-3 occasions, I've tried placing a to go order from my home and heading to Zios hoping they would pick up the phone and I could place my order in time. Each time, the phone would continue ringing or go to voicemail. I rarely get to place to go orders with this location. When I arrived at Zios, there wasn't many people in the restaurant to warrant not picking up the phone. I place this review in hopes that the level of customer service will improve
Great atmosphere, location and food. Always been my favorite stop. But one thing that changed was the recipe for the Spicy Chicken Alfredo. The last 3 times I've ordered this, where is the alfredo sauce? Otherwise, still a favorite, despite my favorite dish has changed.
I really want to like this place! I have tried it numerous times but just cannot get the flavor in the food that you would expect! The bread was real good, I enjoyed the salad and then it went flat from there. Now please understand, the food was not disgusting and it was hot. If you desire to find ways to season your food you may like this place. The service was on par. Not nearly the worst and not the best but in a crunch or hankering for the bread I will return.
This is the first impression of this fine business. My family and I waited over 50 minutes on a supposed 20-25 minute wait. Very unprofessional and could care less about any patrons waiting. I'm not sure if hostesses are food handler certified but one even grated cheese over a customer's food while wearing her very long outside coat. I haven't eaten here in a while and maybe I should have stuck to my gut feeling. We left and spent our money elsewhere.
Food was great service was amazing 10/10 would recommend if your in the downtown area of okc
I was back in OKC for the holidays and hadn't eaten at Zio's in years. I had only eaten there a couple of times anyway and didn't remember much about those visits. This time everything was excellent even with a trainee waitperson. The seasoned waitperson made up for anything the trainee lacked and did a great job of teaching too. We took advantage of the Thursday night special and the food was excellent! This is probably the best bet at any restaurant simply because they have planned to serve a lot of the specials and they are some of their top dishes on any night. Will definitely return and hope it will be as good.
Freeeeeeeekin Awwwwwwwesome. Even sober
We ate here on January 15th. Management needs to give praises to Giovanni, I know I probably did not spell that correctly but he was the bar tender that night. The hostess was too busy on her phone to seat us so he came over, seated us and took care of us the entire night. He was wonderful. Definitely an employee worth keeping!!
Excellent food and service. No surprises and that's why not a 5. Nothing made it stand out from other, similar restaurants. But it is good, solid food at reasonable prices served up very professionally. Right on the river walk too
It was awesome, we haven't been in a LONG TIME. Our waiter was great and very nice.
100% awful. Our server was very disrespectful. Complained when she brought us the wrong drink and we asked for it to me fixed. Walked past us multiple times helping one other table while we haired half an hour for our check. Will not be visiting again.not to mention the food was horrid. Asked for a mediums rare steak and got it well done. Didn’t even taste good. Like it was dipped in a bucket of grease.
Placed an order to go and they sent out a moldy salad.
The food was delicious and not overpriced. The service was great!
Went to eat lunch at Zio's on the riverwalk in Bricktown (downtown) OKC on 5/21/2020, a Thursday afternoon. When we walked in, there were only two tables in the entire restaurant that had been seated. They have capacity for at least 200. They said they were at capacity because of new restrictions in place. So ridiculous. There were probably only 8 people seated in the while place.
Meh..ive tasted better in McAlester
After 30 minutes of waiting for food it was barely subpar. The wait is to be expected with a party of 8 but the service was little to non. We all got 1 round of regular drinks and after 15 minutes of having empty cups we finally got asked if we wanted more. On top of that 2 orders were completely wrong, and 3 others tasted complete different even though they were the exact same thing. And after an extra 30 minutes of waiting the wrong orders were finally fixed. Will definitely not be coming back here, and will definitely be letting people know that other restaurants in the area are much better and quicker.
Food was just ok. Plain and basic and for the price will not be returning. The pizza we ordered was the worst I have ever eaten. Little Caesar's is better lol
I went here with a group, so I wasn’t expecting to have a new drink every five seconds, but only having it refilled once over two hours was pretty sad. The food was good, but i got the Tiramisu for dessert and it was frozen in the middle! So sad because this place has always been a favorite. Really disappointing. The restaurant also was not busy at ALL! I think that was the worst part. Working in the industry, I totally get being slow when you’re busy, but holy cow!
Our server was excellent tonight. We had a party of about 25 and she tended to us perfectly. I didn't catch name but if management is looking at these please give praise to the lady who took care of our large party around 6pm tonight! Kudos!
While the service was okay and the staff was kind, the food was poor. My daughter’s chocolate milk was sour and thick. The bread was really dry (clearly old) and the lasagna noodles were dried out. The meal made me wonder about how diligent the kitchen was about tossing expired food. The restaurant smelled terrible, like dirty sitting water & the kitchen was a mess. I gave two stars only because the staff was friendly, but the dining experience was awful. We’ve always loved Zio’s, but won’t return to this location.
I went to Zio’s for a work dinner and had a great time! It was very basic Italian food and was good. We got a couple appetisers with fried ravioli and cheese, stuffed mushrooms, pepperoni bread and spinach and artichoke dip which was great! The bread was quite good, but I do need to say y’all need to get real olive oil. Whatever you put on your spices (which I’m pretty sure is just vegetable oil from the incredibly watery texture, flavour, and consistency) is pretty gross which is disappointing when the bread is nice. I got the manicotti which was good! And it seemed like everyone enjoyed their dinner and my peach Bellini was made well. Service was very nice too!
Love coming here Everytime I Visit. Good food and friendly staff
Very frustrating. The waitress with the platinum blonde hair (because no introduction was given), is awful. She didn’t know the specials, didn’t get bread/oil out to us until 15 minutes after ordering, didn’t want to give us plates with bread/oils, seemed mad when asked for drink refills, salads came out 30 minutes after we ordered, and our actual meal came out an hour after ordering. Food was good, but the wait is way longer than other places I have eaten. Other staff were friendly. Wish we could have gotten any other waitress. Always uncomfortable to have a waitress that is so clearly inconvenienced with doing her job. Gave stars since the food was good. Maybe the way to go with this place is to just not eat in.
Called ahead to ask if they were open for dine in. When we get there, after an awkwardly long wait, the waiter walks up slowly, no smile, barely speaks, doesn't ask about drinks or appetizers. Quite frankly, totally seems like he doesn't want to be there. We place our order and he just walks off. Didn't ask about salads that came with one of the meals. Didn't offer bread. Just heard our orders and wandered off behind the kitchen. I left 3 bucks for the tea, told the cook to tell the "server" I'm leaving. Tried to call to let the manager know the money was for the tea and NOT the server but no one answered the phone. You could also smell the plumbing in the building. The Zios on Meridian is sooo much better. Will never go to the Bricktown location.
Great food for a reasonable price
The wait to be seated was short. The wait for the food was over 30 mins. Quality of the food was so-so. Service was decent. Was not the best experience. Probably would choose something else next time in Bricktown.
The food was delicious but the service left something to be desired. We waited several minutes to be greeted by the waiter. As our dinner progressed, we were put off by his lack of attentiveness.
We had a 40 minute wait to be seated, which isn't bad for a Saturday night. However it is BAD when there is over 20 people waiting to be seated and you have atleast 5 tables just sitting with dishes on them and both bar tops were ENTIRELY covered with dishes. After waiting 40 minutes to be seated, ordering our drinks and food, eating said drinks and food the bar tops and 2 20 top tables that were dirty when we entered had just got done being cleaned. NUMEROUS people left because of the wait time noticing that they were only waiting because no one was willing to clean off places for them to sit. Our server was amazing and did am amazing job. But whomever is managing or in charge of cleaning tables did a horrible job tonight representing your restaurant.
They were amazing we went their on my birthday and were so helpful with my now fiance with setting up him proposing to me... the staff is awesome
I will say that those at my table throughly enjoyed their meals I got a pizza that just didn't wow me, tried to build my own pizza but was suggested by the waitress to get another but it didn't come close to what I was trying to order and it was barely warm. I will say it's not their normal standard of excellence. All in all it's a nice place to have small to large crowds to accommodate.
Absolutely loved it! Eggplant pasta is what I had and I wasn't expecting a lot but it was. We had got in pretty quick with a party of three. You have to try them out.
The employees were very unclear in what time we could dine in. They told us 45 minute wait. We walked around and 45 minutes later we came in and asked when we can get served. The same employee said that there was another 45 minute wait with a little chuckle and was very rude
It's hard enough to eat good working in construction and even harder when everywhere is closed over a global pandemic. We Just call ahead so they have time to prepare our food.. great job
Good dinner overall. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Our server was nice. I ordered the Pepperoni Chicken Pasta. It was good but I wished there was more pepperoni. Another issue... bathrooms were not clean.
Maybe it was me. But this is the second time I've been and the marinara sauce tasted like beer. My wife agreed. But the waitress was so nice!!
This is an excellent date night or family fun night outing. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable for a downtown restaurant. The servings are huge so you could definitely share dishes. Staff is friendly. I gave it four stars based on the fact it was difficult for me to find, because I'm new to okc. Entrance to the restaurant faces the canal, which I didn't know where that was because I'm new here. If you know your way around okc, then this place will be easy for you to locate.
On a hot summer day, it was nice to slip into the cool ambiance of a Italian bistro, the atmosphere was busy and cordial. The service was efficient and cordial. I was happy with the menu prices, very reasonable and the portion s were large, The bresdsticks were very good with the olive oil and spices. I was very happy with the whole experience and I was glad we chose this place. The overall experience was very good. Would go again if in town and recommend it to others. For a Italian jersey boy, I think that is a good compliment. Ciao
Thisbis SO amazing. I was impressed with every part of our experience!
I like Zio's just not this location. I hadn't been to thos location in years and thought I'd go before a Thunder game. Service was poor, had to remind our server several times about drinks we ordered and the food was okay at best. Won't be back to this location. I'll stick with the Norman one, where they treat you well.
Service is Great! Food is Delicious! Chocolate cake is to die for!
